I often get asked by my clients about whether they should be taking protein shakes, when is the best time to have them, and which one should they take. So, I thought I’d share some of my thoughts here for you.
My opinion is that good nutrition comes first! Protein shakes are SUPPLEMENTS i.e. an addition to a good diet – NOT a substitute for real food.
What is protein?
If you find that you just don’t have the time or even the knowledge to get what you want to get done, ask someone for help – an expert – someone you trust, it’s what they’re there for.
These days it’s impossible to decide which supplement to take to enhance your performance and/or health. One thing is for certain, marketing strategies are very clever so don’t take their word for it!
